“I took my car into the 135th St. Tuffy in Plainfield, IL for a broken heater. I had already been two weeks without heat. They took it in as soon as I dropped it off just before closing. When I called the next morning they indicated that they found nothing wrong but were going to leave it out in the cold and test it again. I went to pick it up that afternoon and was astonished with the bill - ZERO! If I went to a Ford dealer and got similar results, I could expect to pay $100-200 for their time. When I got in the car and cranked the temp to 80 it was toasty as can be. This Tuffy location has always treated me fairly and recommended the least costly repairs but this tops it all. They have all my non-warranty business for sure.”
